Do I need a museum ticket to visit the café?
No, visiting Café Victor doesn't require paying the museum admission fee. You're welcome to enjoy coffee or Afternoon Tea without visiting the exhibitions.
Do I need to book Afternoon Tea in advance?
Yes, Afternoon Tea is always a pre-booking product. We recommend reserving your spot well ahead of time, especially on weekends.
Can I buy a gift card for Café Victor?
Yes, you can purchase our Afternoon Tea gift card directly online. Please note that an Afternoon Tea time must be booked in advance, even when using a gift card.
What's included in the Afternoon Tea selection?
Three savory and three sweet handmade treats, always including a scone with jam and whipped cream, a macaron, and finger sandwiches. The price includes quality brewed tea or fresh coffee. The selection changes with the seasons.
Do you offer gluten-free or vegan options?
Our display case includes daily gluten-free and vegan options. Afternoon Tea is dairy-free and can be prepared gluten-free upon request, though we can't fully guarantee it due to our production conditions. A vegan Afternoon Tea selection is available at our sister café, Cafe Qwensel.
Does Afternoon Tea include sparkling wine?
Not automatically, but if you'd like, you can add a glass of sparkling wine to your Afternoon Tea for an extra charge.
When is Café Victor open?
We follow Turku Art Museum's opening hours: Tuesday to Friday 11am–7pm, and Saturday to Sunday 11am–5pm.
Is lunch available?
During summer, we serve fresh, generous salads on weekdays. From autumn to spring, we serve soup lunch on weekdays. Read more.
Is the café always quiet?
The café is located in the museum's lobby area, so we can't guarantee a fully peaceful setting, museum groups may also pass through at times.
Where is Café Victor located?
In the lobby of Turku Art Museum, on Puolalanmäki hill, at Aurakatu 26, 20100 Turku.
Is Café Victor the same company as Cafe Qwensel?
Yes, both are run by Nanna's Co Oy, which has offered Turku café experiences since 2010. Cafe Qwensel is located in the courtyard of the Turku Pharmacy Museum.
